It’s build quality is excellent and there is easy access to all Ipod buttons and ports. The case is padded providing protection and texture to grip the Ipod securely. Great sound for such a small unit. I use rechargeable batteries and they lasted pretty long. Easy operation. The protective jacket for your nano, that comes with the unit, does not fit well. But not needed, if you use an invisible shield which does the same job.

This speaker system does exactly what it claims. MY Nano IPOD docks inside it nicely and after over 3000 miles of biking I’ve yet to have a failure. It has remained weather proof through rain, snow and mud. It has also worked equally well in temps ranging from the teens to over 90f. It does require the use of 4 double A batteries, which could be wasteful because it does burn through the batteries. However, I have been leveraging rechargable double A batteries and get over 12 hours of play time between charges.
I would recommend this speaker system, but one word of caution they leverage a single frequency for their remote control connection and if you ride near another person with the speaker you can control their speaker and they can control yours. Also if your battery goes dead on the remote there is no way of controlling the volume and the default volume is to low to overcome average road noise

I bought this silicone case after searching many pages of similiar products in Amazon and going to a couple of stores. It’s everything I wanted and more because of the free arm band (a nice bonus). It also is the ONLY case I’ve seen that has a hole on the side for a lanyard to hook into so I can wear it around my neck instead of the waist or arm. I prefer hanging it on my neck when I shop, walk or ride a bike and this case gives me all the options available and for a great price. You won’t go wrong getting this.

This fm transmitter has a stronger/better signal than any of my previous. Key points:
-Make sure you have a solid square 2 inch space around your primary car cigarette lighter. For example, the 2006 acura tl does not have enough room to plug this device in on socket near the center navigation console, and using the one inside the arm rest compartment worsens the signal.
-Be realistic with your expectations. FM transmitters all suck because the FCC limits their transmitting power.
-Having the ability to switch to mono is HUGE. This makes the signal strength noticeably better/stronger.
-Use smartsound, it does make the audio slightly louder.
-Don’t bother with the scan function. It doesn’t reliably find the best stations. Press the middle button once then hold the right button for a few seconds then press the right button to select japan mode. Then try 87.7 and 87.9… Although radio stations are not suppose to use these, some mexican station near me broadcasts on 87.7 
-There is a weird issue where when I press play on the itrip, sound comes from the iphone itself. This is annoying, but easily fixed by pulling out the itrip from the cigarette lighter and replacing without unplugging the iphone
-The first one of these I received didn’t work, but the second one was fine.
